San Diego Spring

Hi girls,

In order to compact our information and all of our news, the blog will now be posted directly on the first page of the website. you can view it here: http://chiomegaucsd.wordpress.com/

It has already been a great spring, what with such an exciting and successful Triton Day! Our two sisterhood events, both at the UCSD Baseball game and at the La Jolla Shores bonfire had a huge turnout that would make even Ina May Boles proud (#founding history humor).
I Cannot wait to experience the rest of what this quarter has in store.

Winter in the Sun

Hey Girls,

I hope you have all been enjoying this quarter as much as I have! It was a long break, and I am sure we are all glad to be back in San Diego. Fall quarter ended with cold days, great grades, and ice skating with the Make-A-Wish kids! After long hours of studying, we were all ready for some relaxation time, so some of our girls got together for our annual Christmas baking extravaganza at Jenessa's house and made some delicious treats.

When Winter quarter began, it was a whirlwind of events. This month we finally initiated our Phi Class, and we are so lucky to have them as a part of our chapter. With all of the beautiful weather, Chi Os were destined to have a blast. It was Las Vegas for the birthday girls, lunch in Price Center (PC) every Wednesday, hiking to potato chip rock, and a very successful Beach clean-up with Tau Kappa Epsilon. Also, thank you to everyone who came to our fantastic fundraiser at Woodstock's Pizza down in Pacific Beach, we raised a ton of money for our next wish-granting.

Heidi and Madeline reppin' CHI O at KATwalk!
Katherine in London!
As we like to support our fellow Panhellenic Chapters, we had two Chi Omegas, both Madeline and Heidi, model at the Kappa Alpha Theta "Katwalk." They absolutely rocked it and all of us who went had a fabulous time. In addition to all of the great events, we were ecstatic to have the lovely Katherine return from studying abroad in London! She misses ol' Big Ben, but we are thrilled to have her back.

Finally, this month we congratulated our new, Chi O #1 Fan, Ruben. He is a close friend to everyone in our chapter, in Christelle's words - "is great at crafting," and most importantly, he absolutely embodies our symphony, representing everything a Chi O Owl Man should be. Congrats Ruben, and lets make the rest of Winter Quarter a great one!

The Chi O Hoot

Hello my lovely sisters!

Old and New Chi Omegas at Presents
So I have decided to start this blog, dedicated to the lovely Chi Omegas at the University of California, San Diego, in order to keep records on all of the amazing adventures and years of fun to come! It has been an exciting quarter for our chapter so far, most recently with the presenting of our beautiful Phi Babies at Presents Formal! That was a blast, everyone remember the huge conga line? Old-school dancing for the win. Also, just about every girl I've talked to has sore legs from dancing all night in heels- and say that it was completely worth it. Another exciting event that just occurred was slating, that long but necessary task that resulted in our new executive board- congrats to our new president Avanthi Hulugalle!

I'll try and keep this updated as much as possible, and don't be freaked if you notice I've stolen one (or many) photos from your facebook... It's going to happen.
